What is Go Chatter?

Firstly we create bitesize videos that get people talking about Jesus – we post these on our Youtube channel. Secondly we trawl the internet finding the most helpful evangelistic videos and bring them together on this hub website. You can find out more on the ‘About Us’ page.

Who makes the videos?

Where possible we love to collaborate on videos with other creatives. God’s given us all different gifts, personalities and contexts – and by creating and collaborating together we reckon these videos will make a richer resource & engage a wider audience.

The Tale as Old as Time

The Tale as Old as Time is one example of a team effort where a number of people kindly contributed their skills and time. Toby & Kate Butt playing the piano and singing, Hannah Dolan writing the lyrics and Rachel Shannon along with a hand from Dan Rackham did the filming and edited the video. It was exciting how it all came together. Maybe you have a particular skill or gift that could be used in a video – whether it’s acting, singing, rapping or video production to name a few? If getting involved sounds fun then please do get in touch with us.

Dan Rackham, one of the 10ofthose.com staff members is involved working on creating most of the videos. He spends his time writing scripts, creating sets, filming, animating, presenting or editing the videos. He often gets friends to improve his rough scripts or brings in friends to act, present or record voice overs. If you’d like to see behind the scenes then this video will give you a helpful insight into one of the videos Dan worked on.

I’ve got a good idea for a video can you make it?

Great. Yes we’d love to make your idea into a video if it’s possible. Please get in touch with us and lets get chatting.

Can I upload your video to a social network such as Facebook or YouTube?

We’d love you to share our videos via social media but please don’t re-upload our videos online. At the bottom of each video post is a box that contains a link. Click on the box and it’ll enlarge to reveal the url of the original YouTube video. Then simply paste that link in Facebook, Twitter or into an email to share the video with friends. Here’s an example of one of the boxes.

How to share this video?
To share this video on social media paste this link: https://youtu.be/tox2TflUH90

We make the videos available to download only so that they can be shown offline in services, events, groups, classes, assemblies or 1-2-1 where there may not always be a reliable internet connection. If you’d like to encourage and support us in what we’re doing then please share the videos rather than re-upload them.

Can I upload your video to my website?

Thanks for considering including one of our videos on your site. Please embed our YouTube videos on your website, rather than uploading our videos to your website. Embedding a video on your website is really simple:

At the bottom of each video post is a box that contains the embed code. Click on the box and it’ll enlarge to reveal the html code that you need to paste into your website to embed the YouTube video. We’ve set the embed code so that it doesn’t show any suggested videos at the end and there will be no annoying advertising that pops up either. Here’s an example of one of the boxes.

How to embed this video?
To embed this video on your website copy this code:
<iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/tox2TflUH90?rel=0″ frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>

Can you make a voiceover translation of a video in my language?

Yes we’d love to. We’ve worked with native speakers in Brazil, Spain, Wales, and France to produce voiceovers of our videos in their native languages. If you know of someone who has access to a professional microphone, some audio editing software then we’d be delighted to work with you to create a version of the video in your language. To record the voice overs in Portuguese, French and Spanish for the Martin Luther videos we worked closely with churches and mission organisations in those countries. Find out more.

Can you add subtitles in my language?

Several of our videos have subtitles in different languages. But we’d love to have more subtitles available. If you can read and write fluently in another language then we’d love your help. YouTube enables you to easily add subtitles in your language to any of our Go Chatter videos. Find out more.

How do you make money?

Well actually we don’t. There’s not much money to be made in making evangelistic videos. If we charged churches a fee to download our videos it would limit the number of churches that showed them and let’s be honest people would just rip them off YouTube. But 10ofthose.com are passionate about getting trusted evangelistic resources out there and so have set up Go Chatter as a ministry funded by them.

Why are some of the videos not available to download?

On the video thumbnails of our own Go Chatter Originals you’ll see a tag that says ‘Free Download’ that indicates which videos it’s possible to download. We can only make videos we’ve created available to download. Other organisations would be rightly annoyed if we started re-uploading videos without their permission and making them available for you to download.
