Description

A snapshot of Israel's journey through the Old Testament - in just three and a half minutes!

Israel: God's people. Ever wondered how the journey unfolded?

Of course, you can’t do the Old Testament justice in 3 ½ minutes, or fully understand the complexities of Israel’s journey in the time it takes to make a cuppa. But this video gives us a snapshot and a flavour of how Bible characters fit into the bigger picture of Scripture.

We see people like Abraham, Joseph, Esther, and David, and how they each stepped up to answer the call for obedience from God.

Using warmth, humour and pop culture references, this video helps us see Israel's story in a new, fresh way.

Possible Discussion Questions

  • Do you think it is worth reading the Old Testament, when it is the New Testament that is all about Jesus?
  • What are some of the important things we can learn from the Old Testament?
