Part-time Digital Marketing and Website Coordinator

About the role

We are currently recruiting a part-time role to provide social media, marketing and website administration on GoChatterVideos.com

This is a vital role supporting churches and helping them discover videos they could use in their services, events and groups.

You will be involved in promoting helpful videos to churches particularly around the different seasons in the churches calendar.

About Go Chatter

Go Chatter provide Christian groups and churches with quality digital content to use in their services and events.

We have a catalogue of videos that churches can download on lots of different topics and seasons from over 80 different content creators.

The core Go Chatter team is a team of 4 who work from our Coventry offices.

The role profile

The role will include responsibilities in the following three areas. Where necessary we are very happy to provide training in the skills required.

1. Social Media

  • Schedule weekly posts and driving engagement on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, & Pinterest)
  • Set up and monitor paid advertising on Facebook

2. Website Management

  • Using WordPress to manage website administration
  • Updating the website to promote relevant videos for each season (Christmas, Easter etc) 
  • Liaising with content creators and uploading content to the website

3. Marketing

  • Assist in contributing ideas and shaping a marketing strategy
  • Writing regular email campaigns
  • Writing press releases to organisations
  • Writing the occasional article or blog

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Competent writing skills in English
  • Good organisation and administration skills
  • Familiarity with social media
  • The ability to creatively engage people online
  • The ability to multitask, balance multiple activities, and plan and prioritise accordingly
  • An understanding of how churches use video content and the sort of ways digital content can be useful for their various ministries.
Desirable but not essential competencies: 
  • Familiarity with graphic design and editing software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator).

Salary, hours and location:

  • This is a part time role and would suit someone wanting to work flexible hours around other commitments. The role could be 2 or 3 days a week.
  • The role is provided via some external funding and will be at a rate close to minimum wage.
  • We would prefer it be to a role sometimes based in our Coventry office but we are open to some remote working.
