Description

Hunger - A Story about Scripture. Are you hungry for the Word of God?

What is the most amount of time you have ever gone without food? - A few hours perhaps, maybe even a whole afternoon? Do you think you have ever experienced hunger - real, true, hunger?

In this video, take a minute to think about how it would feel to go without food for 40 days, and what you would most need to satisfy your hunger.

In the Bible, we read about the time Jesus didn't eat for 40 days. He was tempted: being God, he could have made the stones into loaves of bread. But, Jesus tells us that 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.' His real food, his real need, was to hear his Father speak.

How hungry are you for the Word of God?
