Description

Who is our ‘neighbour?’

In the Bible, Jesus tells us to ‘love our neighbour.’ But what does this mean? - Should we only be bothered about the people who live near us, or who are similar to us?

Jesus told the story of the Good Samaritan to show us that everyone is our neighbour, not just the people it is easy for us to love.

Possible Discussion Questions

  • Why was it so shocking that it was the Samaritan who helped the beaten man?
  • Do you find it easy to accept and love people who are in some way ‘ different’ to you?
