Three easy steps to finding a local church at University.
Starting University can be an incredibly busy and exciting time! A new city, new friends, new accommodation. If you are a Christian, you will also be wanting to find a new church to settle into for your time at University. But how do you go about finding the right one for you?
This video gives some helpful steps to find a local church.
Firstly: do some research. Before you go, it is a great idea to spend some time checking out local churches online or ask any Christians you know who may live in the area.
Secondly: Go on a CU Church Search. When you get to University, your Christian Union will likely organise a Church Search for the first few months of the term, to help new students get to and try out different churches.
Lastly: Set yourself a deadline! Ideally, you want to have made a decision by the end of your first term, so that you can really get stuck into the life of the church and start to feel like you have a home. Possible Discussion Questions
