The fourth episode of the engaging animated series about the life of Jesus.

This video shows some of the events in the final week of Jesus' life.

Crowds cheer and shout 'Hosanna!' as Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a donkey. Jesus then storms into the temple, turning out the people who were buying and selling there: "My house should be a place of prayer, but you are making it into a den of robbers."

When the chief priests and teachers of the law are outraged at children shouting to Jesus 'Hosanna to the Son of David' Jesus answers them: "Have you never read…'From the lips of children and infants. Lord, have you called forth your praise.'"

The chief priests then begin to plot for a way to arrest and kill Jesus.

Possible Discussion Questions

  • Why was Jesus so angry at what the temple had become?
  • Why do you think the religious leaders disliked Jesus so much - enough to plot to kill him?
