Description

Garin Jenkins reflects on his career

As he looks back on his tremendously successful rugby career, Garin Jenkins reflects, "Sport will fade away and be a distant memory." Even the most prestigious international player will one day leave the field. There will be no more hero-worship or dazzled stadium crowd. The transient nature of success in sport is true of so many things in life. We can often build our lives around things that do not last. In "Temporary", Jenkins explains why this doesn't fill him with despair and shares the secret of where he finds everlasting hope. Psalm 103 says "From everlasting to everlasting, the Lord's love is with those who fear him."
