Joy – more than just being happy?
Everyone will have a different opinion about what joy means to them. Perhaps it is the view from a mountain top, being with family, being excited about something, a sunny day, no homework, laughter, music, rainbows…it could be anything that makes you happy.
But, is joy bigger, and deeper, than happiness? What happens when life is not so great – can we be joyful even if we’re not happy right now?
It is possible to find lasting joy, one that can’t be taken away and that will endure through disappointment and tears. Jesus is real joy.
