Description

Episode 5: What was it like to be with Jesus?

After the Last Supper, guards came to arrest Jesus and all his friends left him. Peter even denied knowing Jesus three times - just as Jesus said. After his trial, Jesus was crucified, even though he had done nothing wrong.

But Jesus' death wasn't a mistake! It was all part of God's plan to save people from sin, like Peter and like us. Sin is when we don't love God the way we should. We are all sinners in need of God's forgiveness, so let's say "sorry" for our sin and "thank you" for Jesus' rescue! That's why the events of the first Easter are such good news.

Possible Discussion Questions

  • How do you think Peter felt when he denied knowing Jesus?
