The First Love

Description

We are a rollercoaster of emotions. We love and are loved. But what happens when our love makes mistakes and isn't enough?

This last year has seen love in action like no other - for friends and family, for key workers, even for strangers. But the last year has also seen love fail. We’re not lovely or loving all the time.

1 John 4:19 tells us that ‘We love because God first loved us’.

God didn’t wait for us to get our act together. Instead, he sent his only Son to forgive and redeem our failures and sin, and welcome us into his perfect love.

This is the greatest love story every written, of the God who loved us - first.
