Internal Threats

Bernie has created another plan: to make Ben and Tommy's team argue among one another. He messes up their building tools and equipment, and so the workers begin squabbling and blaming each other. Nehemiah experienced the same arguments and internal conflict when the rich workers on his team began exploiting the poorer ones on the team. Nehemiah urges the rich to give back the money, and to share with those in need. He also reminds them of God's goodness and provision that they have experienced in the past, and calls them to reunite as a team together as God's people. Nehemiah was later made the Governor of Judah, and would only eat his fair portion, as well as feed over 150 people at his own table! He displayed such generosity by sharing with those in need, so that the re-building of the wall could continue, and because he had remembered God's goodness to him.

Suitable for 4-11 year olds, with age-appropriate variations.
