Stirring up Trouble
In this episode, we can see that Ben and Tommy are making good progress and have nearly finished the job of rebuilding Ben's house. Bernie attempts to stop them once more by disguising himself as a building inspector, threatening them to stop all work for two weeks! Tommy recognises him, and puts a stop to his scheming. In the true Bible story of Nehemiah, he is invited by two men to go visit them. However, Nehemiah knew that they were just trying to scare him, shame him, and stop the work of re-building the wall. Yet, the building project was still completed, and in just 52 days. All of God's enemies were humiliated because they were convinced that they could stop them from finishing the work. Through all of these attempts to foil the building plans of Jerusalem, Nehemiah trusted in God that the work would be done.
Suitable for 4-11 year olds, with age-appropriate variations.
