Episode 6: What was it like to be with Jesus?
Three days after Jesus was crucified, some women came to see where Jesus was buried behind a really heavy stone. But when they arrived, they saw that the stone was rolled away, Jesus was gone and there was an angel! He told them, "Jesus is risen!"
Later on, Jesus appeared to the disciples and said "peace be with you!" The disciples were amazed and very happy. Jesus rose from the dead to show us that death is defeated. We can come to him for forgiveness and eternal life, when we will know fully what it's like to be with Jesus. That's why the events of the first Easter are such good news.
