Description

Meal 8: All of the Bible shows us that Jesus is God's promised saviour

Two friends from Jerusalem had dinner with a mysterious man, who did something very familiar. When Jesus broke the bread, they recognised him for who he was!

The friends were overjoyed to see Jesus alive! Jesus walked with the two friends in their sadness, and showed them that the Bible tells us all about Jesus.

Today, we have the same word and the same spirit that helps us understand it. Every Bible story is a big arrow pointing to Jesus, our rescuer, saviour and king!

Suitable for children aged 5-11 years old.

(Created from Faith in Kids’ Meals with Jesus resources. Download their Meals with Jesus Sunday School resources or order their Meals with Jesus family Bible time book.) Possible Discussion Questions

  • How did the two friends recognise who Jesus was?
  • How can we listen to Jesus today?
