Ezra reads the Law
How do we know the right way to live?
In this episode, Bernie the Bodger returns with the job of assembling the cement mixer. He has the instructions, yet he decides not to follow them and tries to put it together himself! It goes very wrong, so Ben the Builder helps him out by reading and following the instructions. Just as in the time of Nehemiah, God’s people needed to listen to God’s Word again. Ezra read out the first part of the Bible aloud to them, and people listened for hours. Some cry in response, but Nehemiah urges them that it is really a time for celebrating! So, they built tents to demonstrate and remind them how God rescues and protects his people, just as he had instructed their ancestors to do. It is important to both listen to the word of God in the Bible, and to obey.
Suitable for 4-11 year olds, with age-appropriate variations.
